This is an archive of my Kamen Rider Ryuki live watch thread, from Twitter. I think this was my first time making this type of thread to try to collect my thoughts on a TV show a little better. You can tell how inexperienced I was at this point when it comes to tokusatsu tropes with how strongly I criticize certain story beats related to female characters. Oh I was so silly and green back then. I bet if I watched Ryuki now those things wouldn't even phase me.
This archive is collected from two different Twitter threads in different accounts, plus a mini-extra thread of a certain friend's reactions from my DMs, shared with permission. I've marked where one thread ends the other begins in the table. There's 20 entries per page to make it easier on the visitor's browser and data. This was one of the shows I marathoned to be able to keep up with Zi-O without spoiling myself any finales or big story elements. It ended up being one of my favorite seasons and Shinji one of my favorite riders as well. Enjoy my tears and my laughs and my boizurabu brain vomit.

Ryuki has actually not been that horrible about its fem charas, Reiko-san's endeavors have been good and fun. |

Her involvement throughout the series has been at times more engaging than Yui's. And even Yui, though stuck in the role of source of conflict, HAS been running around doing stuff. |

Ren agreed with Shiro, which is pretty consistent with his characterization, while Shinji wants to respect Yui's choice.

But he doesn't make these statements lightly, he's spent the entire show struggling to find an answer to the rider fight. |
